Sunday 4-13-08
afternoon all, I felt this was the best way to let you all know what is going on. Thursday morning I woke up at 6:30 for work and was feeling under the weather. I called in and went back to bed and was awaken at 8:30 with the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. Even worse than my knee injury in the navy. I went to the hospital and was told i had 4 stones lodged in my left kidney track. They wanted to see if they would discharge on there own. So Thursday I was doped up for the entire day on morphine waiting to get rid of these damn things. I finally got 2 out around 4am. But the doctor was worried about the other 2. Friday they determined that if I did not pass them by 5pm they were doing surgery. Well as my luck goes I did not pass them. Needless to say They removed the 2 stones and i have a stint in my left kidney hoping it recovers because I am a dumb ass and refused to go to a doc and wrote it off as back pain. Well it was not and they were there for a few weeks according to the doctor. With that in mind I will be asking for any and all of you to step up at practice, the meetings, and the games next weekend. I am a little doped up but my mind i still crazy as a fox. I wanted you all to know cause a few were wondering why I was not responding to emails or text messages... Thanks again to those that call with there concerns and see you all Saturday at 8am. PJ

4 week update
Well here we are at the 4th week of softball already. So far we have not won a game. I don't look at it like we are failing. We ar 0-5 in the race for the division and have 9 more games left. We can still do it!!! We were moved up to a higher level the week before the season. I give these guys credit. They go out each and every week and hold there heads up high and play there hearts out. We are gaining alot of experiance and we will start winning and when we do watch out Phoenix...I want to credit each and ever one of the players for staying positive and encouraging each other and not giving up... Great jobs guys hang in there our time is coming!!! PJ

Our Team
Well the last few weeks have been going fast and furious. We hit the season running in our new division. Well needless to say its been a ruff going. We have lost 3 games by 1 run and 3 we have been hit hard. This team has been through ruff times before and we came back in the middle of the season. Last fall we started out fast and lost a few in the middle and then came on strong at the end. I do believe this team does have the MOXIE if you will to pull ourselves up by the boot straps and finish the last 10 games that will count for the world series as wins.....

Feburary 13th, 2008
Evening Well where to start. Its been a whirl wind off season. We have picked up 4 new sponsors and 2 new business to advertise on the web. The season started off on Feb 10 and we are now in a new division "C". This is going to be a trying season since it is only our 2nd season in the league. I worry about going through what we did in our 1st season. We went 0-13-1. I do not feel we will not win a game because we have a really great group of guys and they are working hard each week. As a closing I do have to say I am amazed and proud of the hard work each person has committed to the team. I am also flabbergasted at how big and successful this team, website, and commitment to being the best has been for each and every person on the team. Thank you ll for making this last 2 years a success. Coach PJ
